J103 Pads Broken – Need Help Finding Alternative Solder Points / RevvoxFlasher Sync

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, while trying to solder the pins on J103, I accidentally ripped off the pads. Now I’m a bit stuck and hope for some guidance.

  • I tested the solder points with a multimeter and found continuity to the pads directly before J103. I tried soldering wires there.

  • When attempting to read the flash, I get the following error:
    [RevvoxFlasher] Failed to synchronize after 10 attempts

I suspect that I don’t have the correct connection or that there might be other solder points that I could use instead.

Some questions for the community:

  1. Are there alternative solder points that can be used to reach J103?

  2. Any tips on how to establish a reliable connection when the original pads are gone?

  3. Recommended procedure for bootloader mode / FTDI wiring to avoid sync issues?

Additional info:

  • Board: Toniebox-ESP32 1.6.C

  • FTDI adapter: AZ Delivery, jumper set to 3.3 V

  • Multimeter and wire bridges already in use
