OWL error on new SLIX-L tags, old ones still work

Hi,

I successfully created several custom SLIX-L Tonies earlier using TeddyBench/TeddyCloud (read UID with phone, add MP3s, NO to Audio-ID, YES to encode). Those tags still work perfectly.

Now, when I try to add new songs to new SLIX-L tags using the exact same workflow, the Toniebox says “Oops, there is an error” (sounds like OWL).
All existing tags work — only newly created ones fail.

I tested:

  • Multiple different SLIX-L tags

  • Same songs/albums on different tags

Result is always the same.

Feels like a broken UID → audio mapping or incomplete write to tonies.json.
Any ideas?

This has nothing to do with your Toniebox.

For the rest you are missing details like logs, your setup, version, box etc.
