Replace the sdcard with a bigger one - how to copy content from small to big (with or without windows)

Thanks to henryk I ordered this sd-card ( https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0B7NTY2S6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share ).

I formatted it to FAT32 with windows and a format tool.

I then putted the small card in one reader and the big card in the second reader to copy the content with windows from one to the other.

But putting the card in my external reader shows me only one Folder “System Volume Information” and inside the Folder two files “IndexerVolumeGuid” and “WPSettings.dat” both 1KB. To check if there is playable content on the card i putted it back in the tonie box. And without wifi it played the previous saved tony without any problems. I waited more than 10 minutes to let the toniebox shut down and extracted the card again, but same result.

2 Questions:

  1. Which Operating System and which tool is used here most to do this job?
  2. Is it possible to do it also with windows? And if so which tool?

Thank you,
merlin

Actually I just copied it in Windows Explorer? No special tool used.

Another option is cloning the SD card using e.g. Win32DiskImager (On Windows).

You can do the same on linux using dd and gparted or any other partitioning tool. following this guide:
