I’ve built TafForge – a web app for creating custom Tonies that runs alongside TeddyCloud as a
Docker container.

What can TafForge do?

Convert audio files (MP3, FLAC, WAV, etc.) into ready-made TAF files

Create chapters from individual files or from a large file using timestamps

URL import via yt-dlp (single track, auto-chapter (youtube), multi-link)

Crop cover art using the circle editor

Manage your library of all custom created Tonies (edit, export, delete)

Backup/restore with optional AES-256 encryption

Edit tonies.custom.json directly in your browser

Automatically register your custom Tonie in TeddyCloud
Label/Coin Generator (Work in Progress)
TafForge has a built-in label generator for round coins and square labels, which can be generated as print-ready PDFs. The feature is not yet fully implemented and is still under development.
A big thank you to the creator of the original TeddyStudio.
It was a great inspiration, but I wanted to automate it while the process!
How does it work?
TafForge runs as its own Docker container and shares volumes with TeddyCloud. Upon startup, a plugin is
automatically installed in the TeddyCloud menu under “Tonies”—one click and you’re in the app.
