Advent Calendar Tonie

the fix was in develop only.

as its daily a new audio file, the tonies.json might not have the new audio id yet. thatsway the questionmark.

Still no success here even though I did:
-update to today’s dev build
-delete the json under Content including its parent folder
-delete the taf
-restart both, the server and the toniebox
-long press the ear
-place the Tonie on the box afterwards

–>It still plays the day 1 Audio file from where i took it off yesterday, not from the beginning and not the new file
–> The TAF it downloded when the tag was recognized correctly downloaded with day 4
–> The web player for this single tonie does not play at all, all other toneis work flawlessly. The linked TAF is correct and the TAF file played from the Library view plays flawlessly

For some reason I really fail to force the box into deleting cached content or reloading new content. Could this also be a firmware version issue on the box side? I haven’t updated anything since i installed the modified FW because i didn’t want to break it.

EDIT: I think I found the problem. I had set up the patch “noHide.308” and I think i was misunderstanding the function of it. Now it seems to re download files after long ear presses. Let’s see if tomorrow it will load “day 5”

Hi thank you, same with our “Flöckchen” Tonie.

Haven’t found a solution yet. Freshness check does not update the content. Tonie just shows 2 tracks.

It is very important to name the version you use a d post the logs. Without that, it will change nothing, as we cannot understand the problem.

That’s it. Thank you.

I missunderstood it too, i did not thought it was optional and needs either the one hide-patch or the other.
removed it from the ngcfg and all live tonies as well as custom tags can be updated immediately.
