Hello,
thanks to all who are willing to help. Today i read through the guides for setting up my C3200 Box.
My Problem is, my Box won’t show up on teddycloud.
I dumped all files and firmware.
I importet the client cert to teddycloud.
For the patch file i specified “myteddie.de” as URL pointing to my internal IP from Server.
It seems working because on my dns logs i can see the box quering the dns entry.
Maybe is it because i forgot to put the ca from teddycloud onto the Box flash storage?
I thought that what be an optional step?
If this is the problem…is there a way to put the file to flash without resoldering everything?
Best Regards,
Xearo
of course thats the reason.
if you have done everything else, you could install the custom firmware. then switch to that and you can upload the ca.der from your teddycloud instance.
→ have a look here: CC3200 | Toniebox Hacking
Allright. Thanks
Yeah i know these Pages…but it is really hard for me to figure out where to find the files, how to start it and maybe how to add my wifi connection ?!
I only have the files from the NG Version… do i need the “not” ng version?
Download the current source of the cfw here:
copy the revvox folder on your SD card (it should ask you, of its okay to overwrite the folders → yes)
Then go to ngCfg.json and set activeImage to “cfw1”. insert the sd card back in your toniebox. The CFW will now boot. (the led should switch colors).
Now you can open the web ui as described in the wiki.
If you are done, change activeImage back to ofw2.
You did update your box to the latest firmware before flashing? If so, the Wifi should be set already. If not, you did not follow the guide correctly
I will try.
Well, it was used yesterday, does it update automatically to the latest firmware?
Anyway, after i uploaded the preloader, i did a factory rest (i tought i have read it somewhere). So after that, i needed to set it up again with the cloud, so it should got the new firmware.
With the cfw inplace and booting to it, the led changes colors and is not connecting to my wifi.
With ofw1 and patcheswifi is working.
Enough for today…
If you booted cfw, there will appear another file on the sd card where you can enter your WiFi credentials.
Thanks, i noticed that and entered them. Maybe a typo…i will check on monday.
