Change Boxine URLs without hackiebox_cfw?

hi,

is it possible to change the Boxine URLs without hackiebox?
is it correct if i only edit mcuimg1.bin with a hex editor (like altUrl.tc.fritz.box.json) and write it to flash?

It think you are talking about the hackiebox-ng custom bootloader not the hackiebox CFW.

First of all, the original bootloader may boot mcuimg1, mcuimg2 or mcuimg2 depending on the active slot. Also it will overwrite those files via OTA.
The bootloader also checks the integrity of the image. So you’ll need to change the checksum at the end of the mcuimgX.

The question is, why you don’t want to use the custom bootloader?
