I tried to create my own Tonie by following the instruction from the MyDealz youtube video. I prepared the toniebox like in the video, bought the identical Icode Slix-L RFID chips and have been using teddybench for transcoding and assigning the UID. Everything worked as expected so far but every time I put the custom Tonie on the box i get the error code “groundhog”. I have noticed the file in the respective folder (CONTENT/UID/) is always moved to the folder “trashcan”. I have tried different original Tonies and those are working fine. I have reset the toniebox multiple times, changed the SD-Card to the original one and the same happened.
I also noticed in the mydealz video the UID from the RFID chip ended with “03:04:E0” and all of mine starts with these manufacture number. Now I just tried every way to enter the UID (forwards, backwards, reentering afterwards after creating the tonie in teddybench).
Strangely it worked for one single time and I have no idea why because it was my 7th or 8th try and I’ve done it that way 3 times before, then I placed an original Tonie on the toniebox and the downloaded file from that tonie replaced my custom tonie file. It didn’t even renamed the folder, it was still the name of my chips’ UID.
It’s my first toniebox I am creating custom tonies for this way but i already have the teddycloud running for another toniebox and I never had any issues with the RFID chips or anything.
Maybe someone knows what I did wrong.
