I have a V1 toniebox, I have updated the firmware and have the HackieboxNG v0.9.3c, I have successfully connected this to the teddyCloud, and blocked the original cloud connectivity.

I have the following questions:

  1. I have all my tonies on the sd card and I can see them via the teddyCloud. Is there a way to start the tonie remotely via teddycloud? I found contradictory statements in the forum.
  2. It looks like it is possible to stream mp3 songs from the teddyCloud, and that someone is using ownTone for the local library. does these always require the specific tonie on the toniebox? I have a bunch of mp3 albums for kids which i would like to play on the toniebox, any idea beside loading each album to a new tag, and converting it to taf?
  3. is there a patch that keeps playing the song also if the tonie is removed and maybe stopping by tilting the toniebox?

  2. possible, you have to assign it to a Tonie, so you can select any Tonie you own. You can user other tools like https://github.com/Quentendo64/TonieToolbox to convert mp3s very fast and upload them to teddycloud automatically and then assign them. Besides that, having a deeper dive in the forum here might help you also.
