Custom tags with custom content

Hello,

I have trouble creating custom content for my custom tags in teddy cloud. So the goal is to have my custom SLI-X tag play my custom audio content. Steps I have taken so far:

  1. Convert a MP3 file to TAF with the builtin audio encoder
  2. Create a model and add that to the tonies.custom.json
  3. Tap the tag on the box
  4. The tag shows up in my tonies tab as yellow circle with question mark
  5. Double click the tonie and attach my model from step2 to this tonie.
  6. Tap the Tag on the box. I get the error “Murmeltier”

What did I do wrong? The Server log says

INFO |handler_cloud.c:0712:handleCloudContent| Content marked as no cloud and no content locally available

Additionally I can play original tonies via the play button on the tonies page, but I can’t play my custom one.

The tonies look like this (left custom, right original):

And the details of the custom tonie look like this:

This shows, that my tag is invalid and non-existant. How can I fix that?

Thomas

Everything is as it should. You only bound your images and names to the tag, but no content. Use the edit button to set its content.

You are using custom tags, and those are detected by teddyCloud and the tag is set to no-cloud, so the content is not asked from Boxine, as there is no anyway.

There is no content set in teddyCloud for this tag. So there is no content that can be validated.

How did I miss that? I had not set the Source for this tag, only the model. In my defense, it says “optional” for the radio stream and I obviously misinterpreted it. It works now. Thank you!

The optional was intended to express, that you do not have to use the Search field.

Hi,

you forgot a “t” in the title. “Freundschaft is[t] Magie”.
