I connected everything correctly and was seeing the green light at the beginning but somehow wasn’t able to connect to my com3 port via cc3200. At that time i connected pin 9 and 3. Therefore I reconnected everything with my uart and connected 9 to vcc but missed that it was set to 5v instead of 3.3v.
Now when I start the toniebox has no light or sound. Did I crashed it with the 5v?
Did you try to reset the box? Usually it’s a bad idea to connect too much voltage, there was a thread here where somebody else did also use 5V mode and in the end it was fine.
Try resetting the box (put ears down and hold both ears until you hear some sound / see light).
I don’t think doing a factory reset will help, as this is triggered from the ofw.
If you are lucky the 5V just flipped some bytes in the flash, so try reading it out the usual way.
An alternative way would be extracting flash with the cc3235 method. You may rescue the certificates and rebuild the flash after that.
Yes, this way.
You may check the serial output of the box, with and without setting sop2 high.
In both cases there should be output. (I am currently not sure which baudrate is needed, to make it readable)
