Error: "Player could not find songs to play..."

Hello,
i got the flashing and CFW working (i think)…

  • blocked Toniebox from Internet
  • can connect to webinterface of CFW
  • replaced the ca.der as in the wiki
  • adjusted “ngCfg.json” with

But when placing my “Traumzauberbaum”-Tonie (or any other Tonie) the LED is blinking in rainbow color.
I enabled “sdLog” and see the error
E: Player could not find songs to play...
The original content is present in “CONTENT\BF3B6E12\500304E0”

It seems the Toniebox is not even trying to connect to the (teddy)cloud…

Any hints for troubleshootin?

If I understood it right, the custom firmware only supports file upload. It can’t play Tonies.

You have to start the ofw with applied patches (ofw2 or ofw3, since ofw1 doesn’t support patches) to connect to teddycloud and play tonies

Why do you want to apply patches with the HackieboxNG Bootloader to the Hackiebox CFW? This makes no sense. Those patches are for the OFW only.

Please check what features the CFW supports. It does not play TAFs, nor it can connect to the cloud.

You should apply the patches you need to OFW2 and run this slot. Then you start the original firmware with the patches and you can use the teddyCloud.
