Flashing with UART-adapter without jumper - 3,3V vs. 5V

Hello everyone,

I would like to flash my daughter’s Toniebox to use the TeddyCloud. From a previous project in which I flashed my robot hoover, I still have a UART adapter that doesn’t have a jumper but has one pin each for 3.3V and 5V. I can’t figure out from the manufacturer’s information whether I can also set the adapter to 3.3V with just three cables (GND, TX and RX).

In particular, I am referring to this model: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B089QJZ51Z
Manual: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1509/1638/files/AZ116_B_1-15_EN_B089QJZ51Z_a385f788-bbed-4ab7-9e3d-53b129fd8f21.pdf?v=1721048237

Does anyone have a hint for me or should I rather buy an adapter with jumper in addition?

I have the same AZDelivery CP2102 UART TTL Converter and it works with 3V if you only plug the GND TX, RX to the ESP32 Board. Dont forget to swap TX and RX from the ESP32 to the programmer.

The flash worked without any problems, thank you for your feedback
