(In)Compatible SD cards ESP32?

Does the information about incompatible SD cards in the wiki also apply to the ESP32 version?
I only ever find information about this in connection with the older board.
So, can I use any SD card with the ESP32?

I am not aware of any compatibility list for ESP32, but it seems like the ESP32 box version is not so picky about the sd cards.

That’s the point - I haven’t been able to find a list anywhere yet
So the question is whether those with ESP32 simply use the cards listed as compatible for the CC3200, or whether anyone has other experiences.
So the question for me is: does it seem that way, or is it that way?

I have tons of existing audio books and would therefore install a 512 GB card, but unfortunately I don’t have much use for various cards of that size to test out. Hence the question in advance

You could have a look into the mydealz YouTube video (the first one, not the teddycloud one). They mention a 512gb one and it works with their chosen.

I’ve already done that - it’s the Samsung card recommended in the wiki.

The upgrade worked, but only with an image of the old card created using the Win32 Disk Imager on Windows. Copying the data only caused the box to lose sound, so it apparently didn’t recognize everything.

The current card is now a Samsung ProPlus UHS-I, Class 10/U3/A2/V30 with 512 GB on the ESP32 box.
