Multiple Tonieboxes in Cloud

Hello, I have the following problem:

I have 3 Tonieboxes at home

With the first one everything went well for flashing and connecting to the cloud, but with the second one the flashing and so on also works great but I can’t connect it to the teddycloud

I’ve tried it at least 5 times now and I always get the same error: the box is not found in the teddycloud

I’ve also reset the server certificates several times, with the first box everything works again when I upload the certificate

The second box is still waiting to start

There are all 3200 boxes

Please add some more details.
Logs etc.

Sorry for my bad information,

But unfortunately I can’t find the log files from the box

I’m actually a complete newbie in this kind of thing

Currently the error owl occurs on the box

My server is on tc.fritz.box

You need the logs of teddyCloud.

ff7725ba_teddycloud_2024-11-12T20-14-46.467Z.log (3.8 MB)

2 out of 3 boxes work, only this one is causing me problems

I now started again from the beginning (backup restored) and the same thing again

Please don’t increase the log level.

What level its ok

ff7725ba_teddycloud_2024-11-14T16-48-25.119Z.log.txt (60.8 KB)

I have now tried to get the box to work again. Bootloader works, cfw also works, server certificate is also OK, wifi also works. Box says error owl! In the log, if I hold down the big ear I see a request (right at the bottom of the log) but nothing else happens, the box then flashes red after the error (30 times)

This looks like, that the box has the wrong CA and aborts the connection.
Are you sure you are booting the right slot and the c2.der is intact?

I have now used the CA file on 2 boxes and it works, even if I recreate the CA file it works on 2 boxes but not on this one. I think it is the right slot that is started, because otherwise the cloud would not get the request in the log or

There are also exactly the same config data on all 3 boxes to start

There is something different on this box you are missing.

Is it possible to transfer all data from one box to the other, whether perhaps any file on the box has something. Without the CA data from the box itself

I followed Erich’s instructions exactly for all 3 boxes, only one is causing problems (I’ve already reinstalled it at least 15 times)

Possible, but not a good idea, as this may go wrong very easily.
As said, something is different on this box.
You may exchange the microSD between boxes to see if it is a microSD or flash problem of the box.

So now I have swapped the sdcard with one of the working boxes, same error

Then something is wrong with the box’ flash. Flash you flash based backup and start over. No need to regenerate the certificates, as it works fine for the other boxes.

I’ve already done that, but it still didn’t work. I deleted everything and then uploaded the backup again. When I start the box with ofw1 everything works except for the Teddycloud (that’s normal), but when I start ofw2 with the patches nothing works. I just get the error message owl. I’ve also reset the box to factory settings and started everything again from the beginning, but there’s no improvement.

What do you mean by deleted everything?! If you flash the flash based backup, you don’t delete things?! Using a file based backup is a bad idea for a full restore, as this can break the service pack.

As said previously be detailed what you are doing, including commands you used etc. Otherwise nobody can understand what you are doing and find the problem.
