2. can I switch off the WLAN of the Toniebox forever?
3. can I replace the ears with switches?

I would be pleased to receive an answer

Problem: after a long period of inactivity, the box only flashes green then red, I assume it is searching for WLAN?

Forever is quite a long time, but…yes, by activating the offline mode.
