it’s been a while since my toniebox needed to connect to the cloud and my setup got broken somewhere.
Now I get “Codename ant” errors when my box tries to connect and it does not seem to reach my teddycloud, but is visible in the fritzbox as being online shortly.
Is there a way to read which hostname/IP I have written into the firmware so I can make sure teddycloud is responsive?
I have the patched firmware binary available, but unsure how to read what has been set.
Read the patched firmware and download it. Then open it in a hex editor. Then you have to search for it (if you have the original backup of your tb you can search within that after prod.toys…. ( the tonies url) to get the right position. )
Unfortunately I did not backup the original firmware back then and while the hex editor is a great suggestion I was not able to find the configured host yet.
Wlan and password are there, unsure where to spot the hostname as all my search results don’t show a promising config entry.
Does anyone have surrounding text to search for or a position?
