Simple DIY LED Figurine, No special Tools, No 3D printing

We have this little dog for some time in the bedroom as a night light.

I thought, lets open it up and see if I can make a simple figurine from it.

It is easy to open. You can just pull of the dog. Then you have a little light thingie with a screw. Unscrew that and you can take of the lid and have access to the core. Looking like this:

You can unscrew the board and the button from the bottom and then you are left with the base plate. I glued 2 magnets in there:

It`s not the best and could need more magnets to hold tight on the box, but you are limited with space. You can’t place magnets at all spots since you could short the board.
For the RFID Tag I cut out the middle of the ring (I have the RFID Friend 40mm round tags) and placed it over one of the support legs. Be carefull to not place it on the screw hole.

Thats already it. Put everything back together and in less than 5 mins you have a simple LED tonie.
