Tonie emulation possible with ESP32 + NFC Reader similar to Flipper Zero

First: I want to say thanks for the great work you guys are doing. I am sure that it has brought a smile to the faces of many children and technology enthusiasts.

I wondered if it’s a possible idea to create an ESP32 / PN5180 based device that emulates SLIX-L / ISO15693 tags, similar to the additions by g3gg0 to the flipper zero. It would be a great addition since not everyone can afford a flipper zero, and maybe you could also escalate it to a device that children can use to decide on their own which tonie they want to hear while traveling.
Thanks:blush::heart:

Unfortunately this is not possible. Although the PN5180 is capable of some simple emulation this does not work for the iso15693 standard.

At the moment emulation is only possible with a flipper zero or an proxmark3.

i had the very same idea and would love a device more dedicated to the task than a flipper. From what i found it would require a custom pcb, e.g. with a ST25R3917 and most likely quite some iteration loops to fine tune the coil. With enough knowledge and drive it should be possible to realize it below 50 euro though including a battery and eitehr a display or a web interface for controlls.
