UART adapter correct position jumper for 3.3 V

I’ll admit I’m a noob when it comes to code, electronics, and the like, but I do have some basic understanding and a willingness to learn.

I’ve already successfully run the Teddycloud on my NAS via Docker and Portainer, and now I’m stuck on the UART adapter.

As far as I understand, the adapter, plugged in as shown in the picture, should run on 3.3 V, correct? For connecting the jumpers to the terminal, the corresponding pin on the side is ignored, right?

Since the chance of me frying the Toniebox is too high, I’d rather ask first…

The model I’m using is this one, and unfortunately, the instructions don’t explain exactly how it should be installed.

Thanks for your help

Yes, 3,3V, that is correct. The voltage is supplied via the USB port. It is only important that you swap TX and RX accordingly. UART TX goes to RX Toniebox and TX Toniebox goes to RX UART.

Yes, I’m aware of the other connectors crossing. I just wasn’t entirely sure about the jumper placement based on the pictures.

Thank you

The Jumper S1 sits correct for 3.3V signal voltage.
