Is a fresh installation the only option? Or is an update also possible within an existing system? I installed it using the helper script for Proxmox.
ask the provider of the helper script.
i am only using docker, so changing the image is just a kind of a update without loosing anything.
I tried that. The helper script says: CLEAN_INSTALL=1 fetch_and_deploy_gh_release “teddycloud” “toniebox-reverse-engineering/teddycloud” “prebuild” “latest” “/opt/teddycloud” “teddycloud.amd64.release*.zip”
Isn’t there a path to the development directory I can use? Or a command via the Proxmox shell to simplify things? How does an update usually work?
as far as I know there is only in release such package.
I can’t say more as i do not use proxmox. You might ask the proxmox community to get support on that.
Hey,
yes have updated the container with the helper scripts. The footer in the interface says:
TeddyCloud v0.6.5 (6682b48) - 2025-12-06 10:13:56 +0100 ubuntu linux-x86_64(64)
But i have no menu for Plugins und the new Player Page and Teddystudio is not visible. Maybe i should change to Docker?
The helper script updater does not work properly.
You’ll have to do it manually and overwrite the files in the www dir.
Didn’t you get an error message the the frontend is outdated?
Did you clear your cache?
Okay thanks that worked.
thats a develop feature
not yet release. and the automated reload does not work in develop as there is fetched a wrong path… (this is fixed in latest PR, but wait for more changes)
I didn’t mean the reload, I meant the error message in version mismatch
