Upgrading Stock Speaker?

Hello,
Has anyone performed (or considered performing) an upgrade to the Toniebox’s stock speaker?
From Step 7 of this iFixit Teardown is see that the stock speaker is 4 Ω and 3 W. I’m wondering if it would be feasible to swap the stock speaker for a louder or higher-fidelity speaker and what that might entail.

Hi Trent, I had the same idea and was wondering why you can’t find something similar in the net… I have upgraded the speaker in my Chevy Aveo but the sound did not improved by speakerupgrade because the standard radio unit was to bad. Then I got an upgraded android auto radio and the sound (with the upgraded speakers) got much better. I’m not sure if the toniebox would perform better with better speakers…
In my newer Porsche I used Alubutyl (in the doors) to improve the sound but I think this is only relevant for bass which was an impressive upgrade . I also upgraded the Tweekers (to Audison AP1) but I think this is not so hearable…
Maybe I will give the toniebox a try with my old Porsche tweeters but I don’t want to cut the original toniebox-speaker - maybe anyone know the name of the connector PIN to order it at ali?

There are 3 cables going out of the box, but only 2 into the Speaker - can anyone help why?

Today I tested the old original Speakers from my Porsche - they work but you need to fix them inside to get a higher volume (like the differece when Toniebox is opened vs. closed).

I think it shouldn’t be a problem to change them to higher quality Tweeter.

I bought a 3 Pin Cable from ali (this is correct: 3 PIN Micro JST PH2.0) to test the old speakers from my car.

I tried to pimp the original Tonie-speaker with alubutyl around the speaker, but the effect is not that high…
